The Macromolecular Science and Engineering graduate degree (MACR) is a university-based degree program spanning multiple departments, with research and classes conducted under the direction of faculty from: Materials Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Engineering Science and Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, and Sustainable Biomaterials. 

 

Students may design their programs of study to focus in one (or more) of the following areas: polymer structure, polymer processing, polymer synthesis, polymer mechanics, composites and structures, polymers in medicine and biology, adhesion and surface science, micro- and opto- electronics.
